Protected love was a co-wright with Rip-Van Parks, who is an artist and creative director, he is also the producer and director behind the Music Video for the song. The song is about the reflection of a relationship that had turned bad, looking back on what you did wrong and the realization that you should have protected them more, and the outcome may have been different. I think everyone can understand and relate to the lyrics.
We both had a strong vision for the song and the direction it when in. The song was produced by Rod Motbey at tracking dog studios and mastered in Nashville by Steve Carrao. It’s a modern country song with a country-pop feel.
